Mother's Day

This year was one of the sweetest Mother's Days that I've had. We had a pretty relaxing day (even though I had to grocery shop) and we had planned to take a picnic to a fun little place over at Chris' work. It had a pretty walk and then tons of nature to explore.

After we ate dinner, we decided to walk over to the lake and see the geese and their goslings. This is a place that Chris likes to take the kids to fish and they love to see the baby geese.
The kids had fun sharing our baguette with the geese and the geese were definitely glad we came.
There is also a great climbing tree for the kids. They enjoyed spending some time playing under the magnolia branches.

I was so thankful for the sweet family time that we got to have together yesterday and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect way to spend Mother's Day!

luke looked at me, pointed at luke larsen and said, "he's not eating his!"
